This epic mod is in development since October 2022. But it’s currently unfinished, with only the animations currently missing due to a lack of active animators. But never fear! Once we find an active animator, we can whip up cool animations and get the mod out soon enough!

Are you a fan of Friday Night Funkin’, My Little Pony and Sonic the Hedgehog? Do you love the idea of your favorite blue blur and his friends teaming up with fellow ponies for a musical adventure? Then we’ve got the mod for you!

From the moment you’ve been waiting for, this is Friday Night Funkin' Void Impetus, otherwise known as My Little Pony: Sonic's Rhyhm Rush! An upcoming megacollab mod made using the HaxeFlixel 2D Game Engine. Submitted by newcomer mod director Sonic-R Maul (that’s me), musicians TheFireZach and SpringBoiii, charter PowerBasket, and sprite artist Seb_Boy_Art (formerly known as RODRIGAMES655). As its name suggests, it prominently features characters from the Sonic the Hedgehog and My Little Pony media franchises, which are currently owned by SEGA and Hasbro, who also have collaborated in several franchises, most notably, their collaboration on the Transformers series.

We plan on releasing "weeks" of the mod (starting with 7 weeks in the full mod) rather than launching all 20 of them of it at once to keep people excited and to keep the developers from becoming worn out.

Pre-Alpha (the demo) will feature 12 brand new songs spread out across 4 weeks (one only accessible through freeplay).

Fight against a plethora of characters! Familiar faces like Sonic, Silver, Scourge and Knuckles, but don't fret! Tons of new characters will soon make their debut!

The universes of STH and MLP have entangled, causing unusual things to occur when Sonic and his friends find themselves in Equestria.

 Join Sonic and Fluttershy as they jam out to some funky fresh beats while figuring out the whereabouts of his friends through various places and generations from both MLP:FIM and the Sonic games. Along the way, they’ll encounter some familiar faces like Discord, Metal Sonic and Dr. Eggman, who all want to challenge Sonic and his friends to a musical showdown.

All New Progression System

Void Impetus features its own brand-new progression system that you'll use as you make your way through iconic My Little Pony™ locations (as well as some made up ones). Based on your performance, you'll be rewarded with either Pony Tokensor Rings which can be used to unlock extra songs or cosmetics, such as minigames and speakers.

Story:

In a battle with Doctor Eggman, Sonic recklessly destroys a machine containing the Chaos Emeralds, which activates the "Chaos Control" technique. This causes a rupture in the space-time continuum, separating Sonic from his friends and sending him, his friends, and all of the Mobians to the world of Equestria. Having been introduced to a whole new world, Sonic and his friends need to get used to the world around them. However, while doing so, they meet several new friends! But the fate of Mobius rests in the hands of Sonic and his friends. How will things fare for them?
